Clean Water. Safe Sanitation. Healthy Lives.

We bring life-changing WASH solutions to underserved communities—because dignity begins with access.

Water is Life. Sanitation is Dignity.

Access to clean water, improved sanitation, and hygiene services is essential for human dignity, health, and development. In water-stressed counties of Kenya, ATO’s WASH Program works to improve access to safe water and sanitation while promoting behavior change to reduce the burden of waterborne diseases.

We construct and rehabilitate water sources such as boreholes, hand-dug wells, and rainwater harvesting systems in remote villages and schools.

Building gender-sensitive latrines, handwashing stations, and bathing shelters in schools, health centers, and community settings.

Community outreach through drama, radio, and peer education to promote handwashing, safe water handling, and menstrual hygiene management.

Distributing water filters, chlorine tablets, and teaching safe water storage methods.

Training local water user associations to manage and maintain water points sustainably.
